Looking For Custom Woodwork?

Canaan Cabinetry is up to the task. We can wrap your entire room floor to ceiling in in decorative wood panels if that is what you are looking for, or simply create built-in cabinetry to surround your fireplace. The built in cabinetry can be ordered pre-finished from our manufacturers like the woodwork above, or we can provide unpainted cabinetry that you can have painted on location for a custom built-in fit.


A local inn contacted us to expand their antique bed. It was adapted (from full size to King size) by expanding the sides 8” with a mahogany panel and carved on-lay. We were able to design expansion panels that will be virtually undetectable when the bed is completed and put back together. The photos below show the bed re-sizing in process.

This gas fireplace insert, mantle, and custom bookcases with storage cabinetry was designed by Canaan. All wood work was installed by Canaan and then finished by the homeowner.

The headboard (not pictured) and the footboard to the left was expanded by 20”. The side rail to the right was expanded by 8”. We did this by adding a mahogany panel with carved on-lay
